1. What we pay
50% of what we receive from each referred store, every month, for 12 months from the day that store installs Arvio.
“What we receive” means the subscription revenue that actually reaches us after Shopify's platform revenue share, payment processing, taxes and currency conversion — not the price on the merchant's invoice. That definition is part of these terms.
That rate and that period are the terms. Everything in the table below is arithmetic on top of them.
What it works out to at today's prices. This is an illustration, not part of the terms. Arvio's plans are US$9.90, US$39 and US$99 per 30 days as of 26 August 2026. Current prices are always the ones on our App Store listing.
| Merchant's plan | You earn, per month | Over 12 months |
|---|
| Starter, US$9.90 | ~US$4.80 | ~US$58 |
| Growth, US$39 | ~US$18.90 | ~US$227 |
| Pro, US$99 | ~US$48 | ~US$577 |
These are approximate on purpose. Platform fees, taxes and currency conversion vary by merchant, so a figure to the cent would be a false promise. The table above assumes the revenue share Shopify currently applies to apps our size (0%) and 2.9% payment processing. Your Shoffi dashboard shows the exact amount for every transaction.
If we change a plan price, the rule does not change — only the amounts in that table do. A price change is not a change to these terms, and we will not cut anyone's earnings by moving prices around instead of changing the rate.
- If Shopify's revenue share changes, we will tell you. Your commission is a share of what reaches us, so a change on Shopify's side moves your amount without us touching the rate. If that happens we will say so in writing before it affects a payout.
- Recurring subscription revenue only. One-time charges, credit top-ups and usage charges do not earn commission.
- We pay nothing per install. There is no bounty. A store that installs and never pays earns nothing, for either of us.
- The 12 months run from the install, not from the first payment. The window opens the day the store installs Arvio and closes 12 months later. Inside it, you earn on every payment the store actually makes — so a store that installs in January and starts paying in April earns you nine months of commission, not twelve. Commission also only runs while the store keeps paying: if it cancels in month 3 of paying, commission stops in month 3. We would rather you knew both of those now than found them in month four.
2. What counts as a referral
A merchant clicks your link, then installs Arvio and starts a paid plan.
- 30 days. The subscription must start within 30 days after the click.
- Same network. The tracking matches a click to an install by IP address. Two consequences are worth knowing before you plan anything around this: a click and an install from the same home or office network will usually match even across two devices, and a click and an install from different networks will usually not match even on the same device — a phone that clicks on mobile data and installs on wi-fi is the common case. More than half of all Arvio installs come from mobile, so this is the single biggest thing the tracking loses.
- The store must not have installed Arvio before.
- A trial alone earns nothing — commission starts at the first successful charge. But the 12-month window has been running since the install, so a long gap between installing and paying comes out of your side of it, not ours.
- If two affiliates referred the same store, the most recent click wins.
- Referrals outside a link. Shoffi lets you report a referral manually and we review each one. We will decline it if the store came from our own advertising, our App Store listing, our existing customer referral programme, or another affiliate — not because we doubt you, but because we can see where it came from and we cannot pay for it twice.
3. What does not earn commission
- Never offer, request, or imply anything in exchange for an App Store review. Not a discount, not a gift, not a favour, not a reciprocal review. Shopify prohibits incentivised reviews and the penalty falls on us — reviews removed, the app demoted or delisted, our Partner account terminated. This is the one rule here where a single breach can end the programme for everyone, so it is also the one where we will end a partnership immediately rather than ask you to fix it.
- Stores you own, stores of a company you are part of, or stores of immediate family. A client's store that you manage on their behalf does not count as yours — the client owns it and the client pays for it. See section 6.
- Shopify development stores and test stores.
- Stores already using Arvio, or that have used it before.
- Stores already in an active conversation with us — meaning a conversation in our records that started before your click. If we decline a referral on this basis, we will tell you the date.
- Paid search on our name. Do not bid on “Arvio”, “Arvio Shopify”, or misspellings of them, on any ad network, or use our name in a display URL.
- Confusable identities. Domains, social handles, app names or page titles built around “Arvio” or a near-copy of it.
- Coupon, deal, cashback and loyalty sites, and browser extensions that overwrite affiliate links.
- Unsolicited bulk email or DMs, and posts that break the rules of the place they are posted — the Shopify Community forums included.
- Anything where the merchant is paid, rewarded, or required to install.
- Anything built to produce a commission a real merchant would not have produced. We cannot list every form this takes and we are not going to pretend we can. If clicks, installs or subscriptions attributed to you did not come from a merchant genuinely choosing Arvio, they do not earn commission — whatever the mechanism.
4. Refunds, chargebacks and cancellations
We pay you out of money we actually received and kept.
- Commission accrues the moment Shopify records the charge. It becomes payable once that money has reached us and the period for reversing it has passed — in practice 60 days from the charge, and we will not hold anything longer than 90 days without telling you why.
- If a charge is refunded, reversed, charged back, or never reaches us, the commission comes off your balance.
- If we have already paid it, your balance can go negative and carries forward against future commission. We will not invoice you for it.
- A reversal takes back one month of commission, not the whole 12. The exception is a store that should never have earned commission at all — one that falls under section 3, or where the charge itself was not genuine. There we take back everything paid on it.
- If the stores from one partner start reversing at an unusual rate, we will come and talk to you before we change anything.
This is not us being careful with your money — it is the one part of an affiliate programme where the platform cannot protect either side automatically, so we would rather say plainly how we handle it.
5. Getting paid
- Everything is tracked in your Shoffi account: clicks, referred stores, and what each one has earned.
- Minimum balance of US$50 before you can request a payout.
- Payouts go through PayPal by default. Tell us before requesting one if you need a different method.
- We have 60 days from your request to pay, and we use part of that window to confirm the underlying charges cleared. In practice we aim to pay well inside it.
6. If you manage stores for clients
Arvio installs into a merchant's own store. If you manage a client's store and have permission to act in it, you can install it there for them.
Three things follow from that, and the first one is where agencies lose commission:
- Your link has to be the one that gets clicked. Telling a client to search the App Store for us earns you nothing — there is no click to attribute. Either send them your link, or use it yourself while working in their store.
- The client pays. Billing sits on the client's Shopify account, and commission follows their subscription for as long as it runs.
- Tell your client you earn a commission on it. If they ask us, we will confirm it. We would rather lose a referral than have you lose a client over a disclosure you did not make.
7. What you can say about us
- Work from our published facts: https://arvio.a.xyz/blog/what-arvio-actually-does?utm_source=affiliate_terms&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=sept_affiliate&utm_content=terms_page. If you need something that is not in there, ask and we will either give it to you or tell you we cannot.
- Do not invent performance numbers. We do not publish a figure for sales, traffic or conversion lift, because we have not measured one. If we find one attributed to us, we will ask you to take it down.
- We do not have the “Built for Shopify” badge. Please do not say we do.
- Do not present yourself as Arvio, Arvio support, or an official Arvio account.
- Disclose that your link is an affiliate link, wherever you post it. In most places this is the law, and in all places it is what a reader deserves.
- Logos and screenshots: email hi@a.xyz and we will send you the media kit. Please use them as they are — do not recolour, stretch, or add effects.
- Anything that puts our name somewhere it damages us — content that is illegal, or that a reasonable merchant would find deceptive about what Arvio is or what it costs. If we think something crosses that line we will tell you what it is and ask you to change it first. Ending the partnership over it is the last step, not the first.
8. What we can and cannot see
We only pay what the tracking attributes. A merchant who changes network, clears cookies, or finds us later through App Store search will not be credited to you, even if you are genuinely why they came. We do not have a way around this, and we would rather you knew that going in than discovered it in month two.
If a referral you are confident about does not appear, tell us. We will look, and we can approve it manually if the evidence holds.
9. Changes, and ending it
- We can change the rate or the period, with 30 days' notice by email. A change applies only to referrals made after it takes effect. Anything already earning keeps its terms for the rest of its 12 months, unless we end the partnership under this section.
- Plan prices, the trial length, and the payout mechanics on Shoffi's side can also change. Those are not changes to these terms — the table in section 1 is an illustration at the prices on the day it was written, and the rate is what you are actually owed.
- Some things we have not set yet, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Today every partner is approved by hand, and there is no cap on how many stores you can refer, no cap on how many partners we take on, and no minimum activity to stay in. If we ever introduce one, we will tell you before it applies, it applies only to referrals made after that, and nothing already earning is touched.
- One account per person or company. Email us first if you need multiple people under one account or need to move it to another company.
- Either side can leave at any time. Commission already earned and cleared still gets paid.
- We can end a partnership for anything in section 3 or section 7. We can additionally withhold unpaid commission where the conduct goes to whether the commission was genuinely earned: anything in section 3, a fabricated performance claim, or passing yourself off as us. For the rest of section 7 — a logo used the wrong way, a disclosure you forgot — we will ask you to fix it, and commission you genuinely earned still gets paid.
10. If something looks wrong, we pause before we decide
If we have a concrete reason to think referrals under your account fall under section 3 or 7, we can hold payouts on the affected referrals while we look into it. When we do:
- We tell you what we are looking at.
- We hold only the referrals in question, not your whole balance.
- We come back within 30 days with either a decision or an explanation of why we need longer.
- If we were wrong, the held commission goes out with the next payout and nothing else changes.
We would rather have this written down than improvise it the first time it happens.
11. The boring but necessary part
- These terms are between you and Adot Technologies Inc. They do not make us partners, employer and employee, or agents of each other, and neither of us can sign anything on the other's behalf.
- Our records and Shoffi's are what we work from when we disagree about attribution. If you think they are wrong, show us what you have — section 8 is not a formality.
- We can transfer these terms to whoever ends up owning Arvio. Your account stays with you; you cannot transfer it without asking us first.
- We can only pay where we can legally pay. If sanctions, your payment provider, or missing tax paperwork (a W-8BEN or W-9, if we ask for one) stop a payout, the balance waits until it can be paid rather than disappearing.
- Commission is gross of any tax you owe on it. You are responsible for your own income tax, and for any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies to you. If you are registered for VAT or GST and have to charge it to us, tell us before your first payout so we can handle it properly.
- What we owe you under these terms is the commission itself — not what you spent producing the traffic, and not income you expected and did not get.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the state and federal courts sitting in Delaware handle anything we cannot settle by email.
